Rev. Christopher Wheel serves as the Associate Pastor of Outreach and The Turn·Around Agenda – the social outreach of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. He oversees the Missions & Evangelism Ministries; Public Schools Outreach; Technology, Education and Career Services; and Family Services, which includes the TurnAround Resale Store and a Pregnancy Center.
Outreach, as one of the four vital experiences, seeks to give us an experience with God’s purpose. As such, Rev. Wheel ensures that our programs become the hands and feet of Jesus as he leads the ministry in providing opportunities – as well as proper training – to engage our community, country and world for Christ in keeping with our mission to Disciple the Church to Impact the World.
Rev. Wheel is a veteran chaplain of the US Army and has enjoyed more than 25 years serving youth and adults as an elementary school teacher, global training manager and corporate trainer. He is also a certified pre-marital and marital consultant through Prepare and Enrich.
Rev. Wheel holds a Bachelor’s in English Education from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA and a Master’s in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Rev. Wheel is husband to Gina and father of four daughters and one son.
