The Spiritual Formation Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integration of biblical principles throughout all programs at KCA. This position involves guiding and enhancing spiritual development in academic, extracurricular, and athletic programs, ensuring a Christ-centered approach in all aspects of school life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the integration of biblical truth in chapel programs, academics, and fine arts.
  • Collaborate with the faculty for seamless integration of area ofltof faith and learning in all subject areas.
  • Guide the spiritual direction of extracurricular activities, ensuring they reflect Christian values.
  • Provide resources and training to staff and facilitate effective biblical integration.
  • Cultivate a school environment conducive to spiritual growth and maturity in Christ.
  • Engage with the school community to support their spiritual development.
  • Evaluate and adapt spiritual formation programs to community school community’s needs.
  • Act as a spiritual mentor and advisor, promoting discipleship and faith development.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide oversight for spiritual formation initiatives in coordination with the Executive Administrator and other school leaders.

Qualifications

  • Deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ and dedication to personal discipleship.
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to biblical principles and Christian education.
  • Experience in spiritual leadership within an educational or church setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement spiritual formation programs.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, faculty, and staff.

Education and/or Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Christian Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
