Impact Saturday is a community-wide day of service where we use our time and talents in a variety of ways to make life better for others.
“As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
1 Peter 4:10

Impact Saturday FAQs
Any member of OCBF can volunteer, however, pre-registration is required so that we can ensure that all opportunities are fully covered.
Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older.
Childcare will not be available. Additionally, those who bring unregistered children with them to Impact Saturday will be turned away if they are not able to be reassigned. Please note: Registered children must be 14 year of age or older.
Volunteer opportunities are available on a first come, first serve basis. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that you will serve with a specific person. If you know where you want to serve and with whom you want to serve, there is the possibility of registering up to 10 people at one time (e.g., your small group). Please consider that serving together is contingent that volunteer opportunities are still open with enough space in a particular opportunity. Once we have reached capacity for a particular opportunity, we ask that you choose another of our more than 1,000 serving opportunities.
Because most Impact Saturday volunteer opportunities will require physical labor, we ask that you dress comfortably with regard to the weather for the day. Additionally, we require you to wear closed toe shoes. Please consider safe clothing for landscaping, painting, donation collection, etc.
Impact Saturday will proceed rain or shine. However, in cases of extreme weather disturbances, volunteers will be contacted via email/text message with instructions.
In order to accomplish the goals of Impact Saturday in an efficient and effective way, we require all volunteers to register in advance. This way, we will ensure that all projects are covered, each volunteer gets a t-shirt and lunch is ordered for you.
