Client Services Coordinator

Summary: Assist the Director with all pregnancy and parenting services of the day to day operation in TTA Family Services by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing abortion-alternative support to women clients through crisis pregnancy intervention, development of client relationships and implementation of client support services.
  • Oversee the intake, initial interview and exit process for clients entering the center for pregnancy and parenting services.
  • Oversee all client service files to ensure clients receive requested pregnancy and parenting services and the paperwork is in order with required signatures, etc.
  • Communicate with medical staff, client advocates, facilitators, interns and the director to coordinate recommended pregnancy, parenting, and wrap-around services for each client.
  • Communicate with clients to keep them informed about new programs available and class schedules.
  • Coordinate and conduct volunteer training, onsite training, and client advocates and interns daily assignments as instructed by the director.
  • Monitor literature, brochures, tapes, etc. used in the sessions and informs staff of deficiencies.
  • Conduct counseling/guidance sessions and assess pregnancy and parenting client needs.
  • Facilitate group and education classes when necessary.
  • Coordinate and network with other pregnancy centers and pro-life organizations and attend pro-life events.
  • Develop and maintain a follow-up mentoring program to provide ongoing wrap-around services to clients that have received or sought pregnancy and parenting services.
  • Support the Nurse Manager in the education and distribution of safety seats through the Safe Riders Program.
  • Keep up-to-date on information relating to pregnancy, abortion, abstinence, adoption, and other related areas through staff training, articles, and independent research.
  • Keep the director inform of program activities.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience; Minimum of two years of experience in education, counseling, ministry or social service field. Must have excellent people skills, organizational and time management skills. Also, must have previous experience working or volunteering at pregnancy center. The successful candidate with exhibit a strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of human life.
