Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child
Showing God’s love to children around the world in a tangible way through a gift-filled shoebox.

Operation Christmas ChildThere’s nothing like the face of a child opening a box of gifts, especially when that child may have never received a gift in his or her life! OCBF joins with Samaritan’s Purse to send shoeboxes of gifts to children in another country as a display of God’s love for them.

We are asking each member to volunteer in this annual outreach event.
There are two ways to participate:
  1. Traditional OCC Box
    • Get a Box
If you didn’t pick up a box at A Taste of the World, you can still pick one up at the Outreach Center at 7125 S. Polk Street, Ste 1. Or, just use an average-size cardboard or plastic shoebox.

    • Decide Who You Will Pack For
You can pack for a girl or a box in the following age categories: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14.

    • Fill with Gifts
Click here for a list of suggestions.

    • Pray
We ask that you pray for the child that will receive your gift. You may also enclose a note to the child and a photo of yourself, your family, or group. If you include your name and an address, the child may be able to write back!

    • Label Your Box
