Department: Golf Course of Dallas (GCD)

The Summer Pool Server is a seasonal position that provides food and beverage service to members and guests in the pool area, ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain GCD service standards in a fast-paced outdoor pool environment.
  • Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently to members and guests in the pool area.
  • Ensure poolside areas are clean, organized, and free of debris, including clearing tables, chairs, and service areas.
  • Occasionally serve alcoholic beverages from the bar and/or beverage cart in accordance with all applicable laws, policies, and responsible service standards.
  • Provide attentive and responsive service, anticipating guests’ needs and delivering a high level of hospitality.
  • Process member and guest payments accurately using the designated system.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and poolside service guidelines, especially in a wet and high-traffic environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must have an active food handler’s certification and TABC.
  • One to three months of previous food and beverage server experience preferred.
  • Flexible schedule required.

Schedule & Hours

  • The 2026 summer season is from May 22 – September 7.
  • The pool is open to the public from 11 am – 7 pm.
