Department: Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship (OCBF)

The Marketing Operations Coordinator supports the operational effectiveness and day-to-day workflow of the Marketing department, helping ensure campaigns, communications, and departmental processes are organized, timely, and executed with excellence. This role coordinates administrative operations, digital scheduling support, ministry partner communication, and community engagement workflows across Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. This role works collaboratively with the Executive Director, Director of Creative Marketing, and Digital Marketing Strategist to maintain efficient departmental operations.

Core Responsibilities

All employees of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship serve in a ministerial role that contributes to the spiritual mission and ministry of the church. Department Operations & Workflow Coordination

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operational workflow of the Marketing department, including calendar management, meeting coordination, departmental scheduling, and administrative support activities
  • Maintain organized systems for departmental records, digital assets, vendor documentation, contracts, invoices, and related operational files
  • Coordinate vendor invoice processing and billing documentation in partnership with the Finance department and departmental leadership
  • Support onboarding coordination for new team members, contractors, and interns by assisting with scheduling, access coordination, and workflow setup
  • Assist with logistical coordination for department initiatives, meetings, ministry activations, and event-related support activities
  • Help maintain departmental equipment, supply inventory, and operational resource needs

Community Engagement & Digital Monitoring

  • Monitor ministry email inboxes, contact submissions, and designated digital communication channels, ensuring inquiries are routed and responded to appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Support ongoing monitoring of OCBF’s Google Business profile and other community-facing digital platforms, escalating concerns or reputation-related matters as needed
  • Assist with digital community engagement efforts across social media platforms in partnership with the Digital Marketing Strategist, including comment monitoring, message routing, and audience interaction support
  • Help maintain professional, mission-aligned, and brand-consistent communication across digital community spaces
  • Identify recurring audience questions, engagement trends, or communication concerns and elevate insights to department leadership as appropriate

Social Media & Content Coordination

  • Coordinate the scheduling and organization of approved social media content across OCBF platforms using departmental scheduling tools
  • Ensure content is properly formatted, tagged, organized, and scheduled according to established campaign timelines and platform requirements
  • Support the organization, maintenance, and archiving of digital content assets to ensure accessibility and consistency across the department
  • Monitor scheduled content deployment and communicate any publishing issues, missing assets, or platform concerns to the Digital Marketing Strategist in a timely manner

Ministry Partner Communication Support

  • Support communication coordination between the Marketing department and ministry leaders, internal and external stakeholders across various initiatives and campaigns
  • Assist with intake coordination and workflow routing for ministry partner marketing requests and related communication needs
  • Help prepare and distribute departmental communications, scheduling updates, ministry-facing announcements, and partner correspondence
  • Maintain responsive and professional follow-through with ministry partners to support clear communication and efficient workflow coordination

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is even better
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, operations, customer service, or communications support role
  • Prior experience in a ministry, non-profit, or communications environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email management tools, and project management software preferred.
