Position Summary
The Director of Marketing for Kingdom Collegiate Academy (KCA), an entity of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, is responsible for leading and executing the school’s marketing eIorts to drive enrollment, strengthen brand awareness, and communicate the mission and distinctives of KCA. The role reports to the Executive Director of Ministry Advancement but operates in close partnership with the Head of Schools to ensure marketing strategy reflects KCA’s academic vision and enrollment priorities.
This role blends strategy, creativity, and hands-on execution. While aligned to the broader marketing direction set by the Executive Director of Ministry Advancement, this leader will own the day-to-day marketing vision and delivery for the school, ensuring that campaigns, content, and communications are compelling, consistent, and eIective.
Core Responsibilities
Ministerial Responsibilities & Spiritual Care
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and alignment with the philosophy, ministry, and vision of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship.
- Support the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical well-being of the church family through prayer, presence, and ministry engagement.
- Provide prayer, spiritual assistance, and ministerial support to coworkers and individuals encountered in the course of work.
- Remain available to pray with employees and team members as needs arise.
- Lead and participate in Bible study and spiritual growth opportunities with team members, as appropriate.
- Model and communicate a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles and the church’s core values.
- Engage in ongoing spiritual discipleship while faithfully carrying out essential job responsibilities in support of the church’s mission to disciple believers and impact the world.
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Development
- Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with school enrollment goals, events, and seasonal priorities (open enrollment, promotions, admissions cycles)
- Translate broader organizational marketing strategy into school-specific campaigns
- Identify target audiences (parents, students, community) and craft messaging that resonates
- Track campaign eIectiveness and adjust strategies based on performance
- Monitor and optimize marketing performance across campaigns and channels
- Ensure a seamless and compelling marketing journey from interest to enrollment
- Partner and collaborate with internal KCA teams to ensure alignment and strong execution
- Ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints
- Oversee vendor and contractor relationships, including scoping work, reviewing contracts, and holding partners accountable to deliverables and timelines
- Collaborate closely with Admissions, Athletics, and school leadership to align marketing activity with enrollment goals, program launches, and key school milestones
Content Creation & Brand Execution
- Design and produce marketing content across platforms (digital, print, social, email)
- Ensure all content reflects the KCA brand, voice, and Kingdom-centered mission
- Write and edit compelling copy for campaigns, website updates, and promotional materials
- Capture and tell stories that highlight student life, academic excellence, and spiritual formation
- Create materials for tours, open houses, and recruitment events
- Ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with brand standards
- Oversee timelines and deliverables for outsourced work
- Serve as the primary guardian of the KCA brand within the school context
Digital & Social Media Management
- Manage the school’s social media presence, including planning, posting, and engagement
- Oversee website content updates and user experience improvements
- Execute email marketing campaigns for prospective and current families
- Monitor analytics and optimize performance across digital platforms
- Manage enrollment-related communications through the school’s CRM and email platform (Blackbaud), including campaign setup, audience segmentation, and performance reporting
- Support re-enrollment communications and current family communications in partnership with Admissions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in education, nonprofit, or missiondriven environments
- Demonstrated ability to both develop a strategy and execute independently
- Strong content creation skills (writing, design, storytelling)
- Experience with digital marketing tools (social platforms, email marketing, basic analytics)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with excellence
- Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
- Strong visual and brand instincts
- Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools and a commitment to staying current with emerging platforms
