Department: Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship (OCBF)

The Digital Marketing Strategist supports the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives across Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. This role is responsible for implementing integrated digital campaigns across social media, email, web, and other digital platforms, ensuring content is engaging, audience-aware, mission-aligned, and consistent with organizational priorities. Working collaboratively with the Executive Director and the Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Strategist helps translate campaign objectives and ministry priorities into organized, measurable, and effective digital engagement strategies.

Core Responsibilities

All employees of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship serve in a ministerial role that contributes to the spiritual mission and ministry of the church. Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the execution and optimization of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring initiatives are strategically aligned, audience-aware, and effectively deployed across digital platforms
  • Develop integrated digital rollout plans that coordinate messaging, content timing, platform strategy, and audience engagement across social media, email, and community distribution channels
  • Translate campaign objectives and ministry priorities into organized digital execution strategies that support engagement, visibility, and ministry impact
  • Collaborate with the Director of Creative Marketing to align creative assets, platform requirements, and campaign deployment strategies across all digital channels
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness throughout deployment cycles, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, reach, timing, and overall digital performance
  • Proactively identify execution risks, platform issues, audience engagement concerns, or workflow gaps and provide recommendations to support campaign success

Social Media & Digital Engagement

  • Manage and optimize OCBF’s digital content calendar across social media and related digital platforms, ensuring content supports campaign objectives, ministry priorities, and audience engagement goals
  • Develop platform-specific deployment approaches that align messaging, timing, audience behavior, and engagement opportunities across digital channels
  • Monitor social media trends, platform performance, audience interaction, and digital engagement patterns to identify opportunities for improved reach and effectiveness, and recommend adjustments to strategies
  • Ensure digital content remains aligned with organizational messaging, voice standards, and brand expectations across all supported platforms
  • Support email marketing strategy and deployment efforts through audience segmentation, content optimization, scheduling coordination, and campaign performance evaluation

Digital Marketing Strategy & Operations

  • Serve as a strategic digital marketing partner, supporting the planning and execution of digital campaigns, awareness initiatives, and audience engagement efforts
  • Collaborate with ministry leaders and stakeholders to develop digital approaches that align with campaign goals, organizational standards, and ministry priorities
  • Provide guidance on platform utilization, campaign timing, digital engagement opportunities, and deployment strategies across marketing initiatives
  • Help ensure digital content maintains alignment with approved brand standards, messaging expectations, and departmental workflows
  • Maintain ongoing communication with ministry partners regarding campaign priorities, digital needs, timelines, and emerging opportunities for engagement

Analytics & Performance Insights

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics across social media, email marketing, and digital engagement platforms to evaluate campaign effectiveness and audience response
  • Develop recurring performance reports that provide actionable insight into engagement trends, campaign reach, platform effectiveness, and digital growth opportunities
  • Identify meaningful audience behaviors, engagement patterns, and campaign performance trends, providing recommendations for optimization and future digital strategy adjustments
  • Evaluate digital platform performance and recommend enhancements to strengthen audience engagement, content effectiveness, and campaign impact
  • Maintain accurate records of campaign performance, engagement analytics, and digital marketing activity to support ongoing strategy development and organizational reporting

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing execution
  • Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in social media management, content scheduling, and campaign coordination
  • Experience in a non-profit, ministry, or mission-driven organization preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms, email marketing tools, and digital analytics reporting required.
