Department: Golf Club of Dallas (GCD)

The Office Assistant provides essential administrative and office support to the General Manager and staff, ensuring smooth daily operations, clear communication, and an organized, welcoming office environment. This role is primarily execution-focused and supports the efficient functioning of the office through clerical, scheduling, and operational assistance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The professional staff at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship have distinct roles that directly or indirectly affect the spiritual development of church members. Minister and pray with co-workers, promote a unified and spiritually enriching work environment with a servant attitude while supporting the church and church members of the community. Administrative & Office Support

  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager, assisting with office and daily operational needs.
  • Assist staff with general administrative tasks to support smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
  • Monitor office supply inventory and submit orders to maintain operational readiness.

Communication & Scheduling

  • Communicate announcements and operational information to staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, greet visitors, and manage internal communications.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, packages, and deliveries.
  • Assist with logistics for staff meetings, trainings, and other internal functions, including scheduling and preparation.

Operational Support

  • Process invoices for payment and accurately enter information into accounting systems or folders.
  • Perform basic data entry and clerical accounting tasks, including updating spreadsheets and maintaining records.
  • Submit work orders for office or equipment repairs and coordinate maintenance needs to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Manage company-wide inspections, certifications, and compliance requirements to uphold organizational and hospitality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Proficient with basic office equipment and office assistance.
