Pray
Whether you choose prayer, finances, needed supplies, connections to others who may pray or give, or some other area unique to the individual’s or team’s ministry, all are important in the overall success of the team. Here are some ways you can help:
• Pray for one or more of our OCBF missionary families daily
• Join the Missions Ministry in the Prayer Chapel at 10:15 am every Sunday to pray with others for our missionaries, trips and projects
• Get the book, Operation World, and educate yourself about missions, history and culture so as to pray more specifically
• Participate in the Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church and other special prayer events

Grow
God uses information to direct our paths - and information is all around us. To better understand God’s plan for the world and for your life, you need information. Scripture, of course, gives you God’s perspective. Applying that perspective to the world gives you direction and passion.
Here are some ways you can “grow what you know” and be an effective tool in God’s hands.
• Offer hospitality to visiting OCBF missionaries home on furlough
• Read missionary biographies as part of your individual or family growth time
• Regularly write, e-mail or phone an OCBF missionary serving locally or abroad
• Volunteer to serve on the Missions Committee
