PTA - FAMILY CARE PREGNANCY CENTER

Mother and child should be given the tools that will enable them to lead a successful life. There must be a whole life agenda for mother and baby providing them hope, direction and spiritual influence so that they don’t repeat the mistakes of the past and move on to a better, richer and more fulfilling life.

FCPC is an expansion of the traditional crisis pregnancy center concept. In addition to encouraging girls to choose life and helping them to learn the key ingredients of prenatal care, the FCPC provides wrap-around services that offer a comprehensive life support system for the mother and her child. These include food, clothing, housing, GED, job training and placement, legal aid, marriage and family counseling, mentoring and other social services necessary to achieve self-sufficiency and family wellbeing.

"The protection of the life in the womb should not end with a full-term pregnancy, but continue long after the birth..."

- Dr. Tony Evans

The Family Care Pregnancy Center's (FCPC) purpose is to protect life in and out of the womb by preparing girls, women and men to value life, both physical and eternal, and to make healthy decisions for successful living.

The FCPC offers long-term solutions targeting the whole person to eradicate the epidemic that’s destroying minority communities across the country.

FCPC is a service offered through Project Turn•Around, the social outreach arm of OCBF. Project Turn•Around addresses the critical needs of at-risk youth and families with an array of services to help them rebuild their lives.
